Abstract:

This paper makes empirical research on network public opinion on hot events Through analyzing the characteristics of hot events, it has found that there is an increase in posting on hot topics and shows the trend of wavy development under the background of a growing number of Internet users, stronger awareness of rights and emerging hot topics; the cross-regional characteristics are obvious, that is, the more developed the cities are, the more public attention they receive by the network, with the trend of transferring to the county level; Internet has become the independent source of network public opinion, such as micro-blog platform for the rapid development of emerging network, and the Internet and the traditional media interacting with each other to force public opinion In the process of transmission, the Internet plays a very important role from the origin to the development of the events, and finally to the formation of subject of public opinion
