Application of Online Resources in the Teaching of French Language

Abstract: With the rapid development of Internet technology, online resources are playing an increasingly important role in foreign language teaching. However, it is also a challenge to select and use online resources in the teaching and learning of French language due to their richness in content, diversity in forms, and uneven qualities. Based on the summary and analysis of current online French resources, the lesson plan of “La Gloire de Mon Père” in Cours de Fran?ais Accéléré is taken as an example to demonstrate application of online resources in the teaching of French language. With the employment of online resources and information technology, the notion of “flipped classroom” is also pointed out so as to promote the transformation of teaching modes, extend classroom scope, and improve effectiveness of teaching French as a second language.
