Assessment of Coordinated Development Level of Innovation System in Yangtze River #br# Economic Belt:Empirical Study Based on Haken Model #br#

Abstract: Regional innovation system coordinated development is a healthy and orderly development direction of the innovation system, and also a more reasonable and effective development model within the system. Haken model is used to identify the order parameters of coordinated development of the innovation system of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2009 to 2016, and the coordinated level is evaluated according to the order parameters. The results show that the regional innovation comparative advantage (RICA) is the order parameters of the innovation system of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. A positive feedback mechanism for increasing the RICA and a negative feedback mechanism for decreasing regional coordinated innovation have been established within the system. At present, the innovation system of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is developing steadily, and the whole system is in the intermediate coordination stage. The coordinated level of the innovation system in the middle and lower reaches is higher than that in the upper reaches, which means that in the spatial pattern, the level is high in the east and low in the west.
