Attractiveness Ratings for University Professional Website Based on User Experience

Abstract: Based on the user experience, a rating system for the university professional website is presented. Considering the website appearance, structure and content, 45 observation variables about the attractiveness of university professional website are included in this rating system. By the way of questionnaire and factor analysis, 8 primary indexes that include website design, academic activities, academic resources, talent training, web service, career development, information updating and 39 secondary indexes are chosen for the rating system, and the way of measuring the weight of the secondary indexes is given. According to the above research, some suggestions are put forward for the university professional website construction.
