Abstract:

The revision for the crime of infringement on personal information of citizens in the Amendment (IX) to the Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China has brought judicial controversies In accordance with juridical practices, this article puts forward thresholds to determine what citizens’ personal information refers to, for instance, information subject relevance and distinction, and different angles to measure a “serious circumstance” of the crime so as to offer references to scholars in theoretical research and judicial determination
