Abstract:

 The development of information has gone beyond the evolution path proposed by former scholars, and the assessment of the present information consumption environment has become a new research subject The concept of information consumption in the existing literatures needs to be updated, and the concept of information consumption environment lacks a comprehensive and systematic explanation Considering the features of the times and by using literature analysis method and logical deduction method, the concept of emerging information consumption is updated as the activity based on the emerging industries such as mobile Internet, big data and cloud computing, and taking an intelligent device as the carrier and the Bit product as the object of consumption The concept of information consumption environment in the new era is defined as the sets of all natural, social, technical factors that affect residents’ information consumption activities, including the subject environment, object environment and other external environment The results can be used as assessment of emerging information consumption environment for reference
