Abstract:

“Reification” refers to the reduction of commodity value to exchange value and the domination of the human world by objects, which makes labor become hostile and alienated thing to their hosts Through analyzing the influence of “reification” on human feeling, imagination, thinking, personality, and happiness, this paper exposes how the human domination of the world has been distorted and subverted by objects, with the final result of the alienation of human happiness
