Abstract: The impact of Internet on export trade from the perspective of trade relation is analyzed based on the panel data of 29 provinces over the period 2003-2012 in China The inter-regional trade relation spatial weight matrix is developed to evaluate the spillovers of Internet on Intra-regional and Inter-regional trade, and the inter-regional spillovers is further decomposed into forward spillovers and backward spillovers The empirical results show that the Internet industry generates significant spillovers on export, both in the inter-regional and the inter-industry chain There are obvious differences between forward spillover effects and backward spillover effects in Internet industry, and the forward spillover effects and backward spillover effects are significantly positive
