Study on Educational Ideologies of YE Peida

摘要:

 叶培大是中国科学院院士、微波通信和光纤信学专家,更是长期从事教学、科研和教育管理工作的教育家,在其教育实践过程中形成了特色鲜明的教育思想。就教书育人而言,他提出“忽视基础将永远落后”,重视课堂教学,注重言传身教,培养学生勤奋刻苦的品质;科研选题主张“学以致用”和“教学与科研相结合”;教育管理过程中奠定了北邮的办学目标,加强教师队伍建设,坚持重点学科和导师队伍是研究生培养的关键,倡导国际学术交流。学习并研究叶培大的教育思想,对于当前的教育实践仍具有重要的启示价值。

Abstract:

Ye Peida is an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as a specialist in both microwave communication and optical communication More importantly, Ye Peida is an educationist who was engaged in teaching task, scientific research and education management for a long time and developed educational ideologies with distinctive characteristics For teaching, he proposed that education would always be behind if the foundation was ignored, and he attached great importance to classroom teaching, laid emphasis on words and deeds, and stressed the cultivation of diligent qualities of students; for scientific research, he advocated that research subjects should not only pay attention to application but also lay emphasis on combination of teaching and scientific research; and in the process of educational management, he emphasized that construction of teaching staff should be enhanced, the construction of key disciplines and supervisor teams are keys of graduate education Besides, he advocated international academic communication Studying the educational ideologies of Ye Peida has significant implications for current educational practice
