负性生活事件、社会支持与大学新生适应的关系——以某工科院校为例

Relationship among Negative Life Events, Social Support and College #br# Freshmen’s Adaptation#br# ——A Case Study of a Certain Science and Engineering Institute

摘要:

旨在通过对某工科院校新生开展负性生活事件、社会支持、适应情况的调查,探索负性生活事件、社会支持对新生适应的影响。研究发现负性生活事件中的人际关系压力因子与大学新生适应显著负相关,社会支持中的以前朋友支持因子及现在朋友支持因子与大学新生适应显著正相关,大学同学支持在人际关系压力与大学新生适应中起到部分中介作用。研究结果表明,帮助新生在同伴建立良好的支持系统,对于缓解他们的人际压力和适应大学生活有积极意义。

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of negative life events and social support on freshmen’s adaptation in a certain engineering college. It is found that the interpersonal relationship pressure factor contained in negative life events has a significantly negative correlation with freshmen’s adaptation; the old friend support factor and new friend support factor contained in social support have significantly positive correlations with freshmen’s adaptation; the support from university classmates plays a partial intermediary role in interpersonal relationship pressure and college freshmen’s adaptation. The findings suggest that helping college students to establish favorable support relationships will be beneficial to alleviating their interpersonal stress and making them adapt to college life.
