In order to study how vague language applies in the news headlines on the internet, after classifying the number Hedges, two kinds of number hedges in Chinese and English news titles are studied and compared.Two conclusions are drawn: As all the network news is characterized by timeliness, authenticity, conciseness, Chinese and English news headlines can be translated into each other, and they have similarities in pragmatics.The number hedges in Chinese and English news headlines are different in structure, word order, varieties of vocabulary use and frequency.

This paper focuses on mobile payment application in the public transport sector, analyses the payment status and trends in the public transport sector, as well as the macro-environment of mobile payment applications in the public transport sector.Also, with reference to the relating findings of “China Mobile mobile payment business model and strategy research” team, this paper studies the mobile payment exploration of Guangdong Mobile and Chongqing Mobile in the public transport sector and points out the shortcomings.Finally, the RFID-SIM mode of Hunan Mobile based on the whole network mobile payment platform is highlighted.Its advantages and commercial value are presented.

Since there is no proper experiment platform for students to conduct experiment on network programming layer by layer for network courses, a data communication experiment platform is designed in this paper. In the platform, STC89C58RD+ single chip is adopted as core processor and its software core is uIP0.9.Based on this platform, top-down network experiment designs are presented in the paper.According to the feedback of undergraduates of 2006 grade in Computer Network course, this platform and design contributes considerably to improving their understanding of TCP/IP system and capability of network programming.
