Based on self-regulated learning theory and attribution theory, the study adopts qualitative and quantitative methodology In the basic stage, participant observation, non-participant observation, open interview, and semi-opened interview etc are used to collect materials of subjects’ self-regulated English as a foreign language(EFL) learning in the web-based multimedia environment (WME) in minority area And then a questionnaire is used to investigate the factors influencing EFL learning in the WME in this area The paper analyzes the attribution preference of self-regulated EFL learning, and among the influencing factors, learning goal, student-teacher interaction, individual learning style, visual learning style and auditory learning style have a greater impact on self-regulated EFL learning in the WME in minority area It also probes into the relationship between learning interest and other influencing factors The results show that there is significant positive correlation between learning interest and learning target, intrinsic learning motivation, learning style, learning strategy, student-student interaction and student-computer interaction
